Meet Pat Baron, a local historian and wealth of knowledge when it comes to the town of Likely and its history. Here, she tells us the story of her family’s connection to the Gold Rush in the Likely area. Likely is a quaint town steeped in Gold Rush history that is located on the shores of the Quesnel River and at the foothills of the Cariboo Mountains. When visiting Likely in the summer, you may even have a chance to meet Pat, as she is a volunteer at the Cedar City Museum.
